Lavinia’s birthday week has been full of presents, parties (plural), and love of friends.

A week of celebrations
Zia Sara traveled from Italy to stay with Vinnie and help us with the main birthday party celebrations. As always, Lavinia had the best time with her auntie, who spoiled her with hours of cuddles, trips to her favorite coffee shop and pancake shop, and most importantly, lots of playing together!

The biggest birthday party
Lavinia decided months ago that she wanted to host her birthday party at her favorite pizza place, a sports bar near the home where they make the best pizza in town.
Many of our friends came, and we had the best time ever eating lots of excellent pizza, chips, and nibbles, watching the Premier League on a big screen, dancing, and laughing.
Lavinia dressed up as Frozen’s Elsa. The cake was Frozen-themed, and Vinnie ate both Elsa and Anna’s faces 😂
For the record, the cake was one of the yummiest I have ever eaten!

Lavinia’s birthday song
She didn’t want us to sing the traditional birthday song, not in English or in Italian.
She said she invented one and wanted to sing it out loud. We loved it.
More celebrations
It was quite a demanding and hard job to test and play with all the birthday presents. She also received many tiaras, jewelry, and hair accessories that she appreciated very much. We found out she’s very good at riding her new shiny scooter too.
She also received many clothes Frozen themed (of course), and some items she spotted at the shop a while back for which she had a desperate cry as there wasn’t her size. Serendipity, she received that very same jacket and our friends didn’t even know about this sad episode she had at the shop! They said the jacket looked exactly Vinnie’s style, and they were right 😊

Halloween time
Lavinia took advantage of her auntie to go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with her. They had a lot of fun and bought home lots of sweets! This Olaf/Elsa team did indeed a very good job 🙂

Another year under her belt
It’s hard to believe that four years have already passed since the first time we met her.
I couldn’t be more proud of the kind, empathetic, determined, and opinionated little person she’s becoming.

I can’t believe it 🙂
